Axis Masts

Axis masts are available in varying lengths to suit all levels and disciplines — shorter masts are ideal for learning and riding in shallow water, while longer masts suit more experienced riders and racing applications in kite and wing foiling.

The most common length that we tend to use is the 80/82cm length, providing a balance between versatility in shallower water and beachbreak wave, and being able to glide through windchop.

Aluminium Masts — A great entry-level option, aluminium masts require four components to make a complete unit: a base plate, a mast extrusion, a doodad (bottom adapter), and a hardware pack (available in stainless steel or titanium screw sets).

Carbon Masts — Lighter, stiffer and more hydrodynamic than aluminium, carbon masts are a one-piece moulded construction with the base plate and doodad built in, so all you need to add is your preferred hardware pack (stainless or titanium).
